Election Fever

Following that election, all I can say, is: I wasn’t expecting that. When I left work at 5 o’ clock on Thursday evening, I was expecting a hung Parliament, but had no clue who the perceived ‘winner’ would be. The exit poll surprised me, and the final result… I didn’t see it coming at all.

Bank Holiday Weekend: RAP Awards, London, and the last Tone Radio shows

I’ve spent most of the afternoon watching the repeat of the European election results show on BBC Parliament. I was left a bit disappointed by the result for this region. The Conservatives lost 1 of their seats; Gains for Labour and the Greens – But at least UKIP didn’t gain any additional seats.

It was election day in the UK yesterday. I am not someone who likes arguments a lot, I try to avoid them when possible. However, I love political debate. In my exam yesterday, and at the university radio awards tonight, I turned everything (including the colour of my tie) in to a party political.
