Planning My Next European Road Trip

I normally find that by mid-late May the weather in Germany is warm and Sunny – perhaps the odd thunderstorm. I was lucky last year to get temperatures of 30°c down in Baden-Württemberg and Bavaria. This year I won’t be that far South so I don’t think I’ll get quite that! But I hope that, in travelling the last weekend in May, I will get some decent weather.

Greek Referendum

This time last year I was in Athens. One year ago today I visited the Acropolis and I went to the beach in Glyfada. When I see the images of Athens in the news and hear about it on the radio, it just makes me want to be there even more.

A couple of weeks ago I came across the ‘Vote for Policies’ website… you go on the site, select some policies and it then tells you which political party you should vote for.

European Flight Disruption

So still no sign of flights getting back to normal. All these problems have arisen because of a volcanic ash cloud drifting over much of Europe from Iceland. Airspace closures are no longer limited to Northern Europe either now.
