Heart Breakfast with Rob and Chrissie (05/03/2013)
This morning I’m tuned in to Heart East Anglia (serving Norfolk and Suffolk) where Rob and Chrissie are on air now with Heart Breakfast.
Presenters Rob Chandler and Chrissie Jackson are on air for four hours every weekday with a mix of music and chat to start the day.
With songs from artists such as Bruno Mars, Emeli Sande, Maroon 5 and Justin Timberlake, and discussions about month-old e-mails and epic climbdowns, it made for a fast-paced and entertaining breakfast show. It was good hearing listeners on the phone talking about their epic climbdowns: times they thought they were right and were actually completely wrong!
Although I am not a massive Heart listener, but I know what to expect when I tune in to Heart, and the Breakfast Shows I do find very good. It sounds quite similar to Zoe Ball’s style of presentation on Radio 2 earlier.
If I remember correctly, I think Rob may once (a few years ago) have been a presenter on BBC Radio Suffolk. I can still hear the BBC Local Radio style of presentation in his voice!
