@Gerald Aase
This isn't about sound quality - its about small, community radio stations who will loose out because they are still on FM. I already know that DAB has good sound quality (DAB+ would be even better).

Oh and, why does it have to be a Roberts DAB? My Grundig Opus which I've had since 2002 works perfectly!

If you're still on the fence: grab your favorite earphones, head down to a Best Buy and ask to plug them into a Roberts DAB Radio and see how good sounds. Then you'll know for sure its worth the switch. There simply is return from them once you've heard them.

@Christopher M
Luckily, most of the writing will be next year. I personally find Geography very interesting. Exams in the winter in my opinion is a good thing - because as I mentioned in the article, I now effectively have already done 30% of my AS level - so if I do badly in it then its not the end of the world, as the summer exam will give me a good chance (assuming I do OK in that...)

@John Govier
I haven't been thrown out of mine... yet :D

Hi Fred. Why do geography? Geography is boring and there is a lot of writing. And why are there exams in the begining of the year because when I did them everything was in the Summer.

Hi Fred

I have a google news alert set up on the name of my book, and so was told that you'd posted a mention on your site when I came into work this morning!

Thanks so much for your kind comments -- and to your relative for buying the book for you!

Best wishes for your broadcasting career, and for the rest of 2010.

Thanks again
