From these classes, a group of locals all with interests in Greece and the Greek language recently got together to form a “Greek group”. We all organise different events connected with Greece and the Greek language.

The Valley of Vathis

The Eastern side of Kalymnos is less inhabited than the West of the island; and a following short drive, only a few kilometers from Pothia, you arrive in the “second” Kalymnian valley.

The Village of Palionisos

Mountain villages are very common throughout Greece and many without electricity, roads or a mains water supply still exist both on the mainland and on the many islands.

A Very Small Island

I am a fan of small villages in Greece, because they usually have fewer tourists and fewer shops. Such a place is accessible from Kalymnos by boat – regular ones run every day from 8am until 12 midnight to this small island.

The Village of Emborios

One of my favourite villages on Kalymnos is Emborios (Εμπορειός), the northern-most inhabited part of the island. Emborios is located about 27km North from this island’s capital, Pothia (Πόθια).

Καλημέρα! Έχει ληφθεί μου σε λίγους μήνες να εργάζονται έξω αλλά τώρα έχω το πρώτο μου blog γραπτή ενημέρωση στην Ελληνική γλώσσα! Δεν το έχω γραμμένο σε Ελληνικά πριν, γιατί δεν ήξερα τον κώδικα HTML που θα πρέπει να χρησιμοποιήσετε.
