Fred Hart Online
Creative Commons Licence

I have licenced the content on this website, using Creative Commons. Unless otherwise stated, the work published is my own, and you are free to:

  • Copy, distribute and perform the work
  • Make derivative works

Providing that…

  • You attribute the work to me (Fred Hart), including a link to this website – preferably the page where you found the original content.
  • You do not use the work for commercial purposes – this includes advertising, campaigns or use within businesses.
  • If you alter the work, you must distribute it under an identical (or similar) licence.
  • You must make these terms and conditions clear to users of your own website – either by linking to this page, or the Creative Commons Licence page.

What Is Covered by the Licence

All text – although some may be quoted from another source (where used, this is highlighted). You are free to quote from the text on your own website and link back to here… but do not simply copy, paste and present as your own!

There are a number of images I have created – such as photographs. You are free to use these yourself, but again only if the terms and conditions are followed. Images which I have created myself have the either website address or name interted into the image electronically.

What Isn’t Covered by the Licence

For some blog posts, I do not have my own suitable image. In these cases, I copy an image from the Flickr website. These are all images used under the Creative Commons licences, however I do not own the copyright for them. They are likely to be distributed under a slightly different licence, with slightly different terms and conditions.

The page showing the terms/conditions for use of these images is linked to within the blog posts, and, where appropriate, I have linked to the original source of the image.

When using these images, it is your responsibility to make sure you link to the correct terms and conditions page – do not link to here, as the licences and attribution name/links will be different.
