Its Hallowe’en

As I write this article today, we are roughly 6½ hours into the last day of October – otherwise known as Hallowe’en. Most years, there is a lot of debate about what it actually means – whether it is actually right for children to go knocking on people’s doors, asking for sweets.

Should Speed Limits on Jersey’s Green Lanes be Increased to 20mph?

I was listening to the Lunchtime Phone-In, hosted by Chris Stone, on BBC Jersey earlier this afternoon. There was a strong emphasis on the speed limits applied on Jersey’s green lanes. If you’re not too sure what a green lane is, Wikipedia has the answer…

It’s been over a month since Sir Terry Wogan announced he will soon be leaving BBC Radio 2’s breakfast programme. The decision for Chris Evans to be his replacement has been very controversial… but I believe people are being very unfair here.

Dealing with Spam

Dealing with spam is one thing which is very important for many WordPress users. When this blog was still quite young, I used to get quite a lot of it – I don’t find it a problem so much now, due to a couple of spam plugins I’ve been using.
