On Media UK last week an article appeared on Media UK – ‘Why radio will fail’.

I’m half way through my first week back at university in Cheltenham.

So on Monday morning I return to Cheltenham for the start of the new term at the University of Gloucestershire.

Today was my last show on 1Radio for a while – next week I’m back at uni; I’ve sent in my application to join Tone Radio for a second year, so watch this space…as soon as I know what time my show is, I’ll let you know.

I have to say that I’m very pleased with the new USB Freeview Tuner which I brought on the Internet (from Maplin) this week – it arrived in the post yesterday.

Today was my 100th show for 1Radio! Its taken me a while to get to this point – just under 2 years. But I’ve done it!

It happens every year – the weather improves just as the schools go back.

I had another week away last week – not as far away as Greece, and not to somewhere as hot as Greece either. I spent a week in North Yorkshire.

I was back on 1Radio today for another 2 hour edition of Music from the Decades.
