Music from the Decades – Tuesday 10. July 2012
This is my site Written by Fred Hart on July 10, 2012 – 12:42

This week I’m doing lots of broadcasting over on 1Radio!

This follows the news given on Sunday that 1Radio will be closing at the end of the year.

Owner of 1Radio, Tim says:

It would be great tribute to the station as a whole if everyone simply started booking slots and doing shows instead of lamenting it already. It’s pointless thinking about how to keep the 1Radio name alive if all you have is a ghost station!

With this in mind, as well as doing my regular ‘Music from the Decades’ I’ll also be doing a number of specials over the next few weeks (at least until I go back to university in September).

The first one will be on Monday 16. July, 14:00 to 15:00. This show will be a country music special. I’m also going to be doing a jazz music special on Monday 23. July (at the same time).

In terms of this week, I’m on air on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Wednesday 11. July: 13:00 to 14:00
Thursday 12. July: 10:00 to 12:00
Friday 13. July: 10:00 to 12:00

Keep following this blog and I’ll let you know when all my shows are on air, and when the specials are going to be.
