I’ve just been reading on the Internet, the story that British children are increasingly turning to American English in their and writing.

Last week I finished reading my copy of ‘Peter Sissons – When One Door Closes‘, which I started reading after seeing him at the Cheltenham Literature Festival in October.

Καλησπέρα. This evening was my last show for Tone Radio this academic year.

Yesterday the Olympic Torch Relay arrived in Gloucestershire and came through Cirencester on its way from Bristol to Cheltenham.

Tonight was the penultimate show of the year on Tone Radio for me – next week is my last show before the station closes down for the Summer.

So my first year at university has now finished – my assignments were all handed in 2 weeks ago and last Thursday I had my exam.

After the Jazz Festival broadcasts of last week I was back on Tone Radio last night, for another two hours of my favorite music.

I’ve been broadcasting at the Cheltenham Jazz Festival over the last couple of days for Jazztown 87,7 FM which I’ve really enjoyed. One of the best things about living in Cheltenham is that it means I’m within reach of the many festivals in the area, such as the Cheltenham Literature Festival and the Cheltenham Jazz Festival.
